    GUIDELINES FOR SHIFTING/TRANSFERRING to BS STATISTICS PROGRAM

    Accepting for 1st Sem. of AY 2020-2021

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS for SHIFTING and TRANSFERRING to BS STATISTICS PROGRAM

    S2 (Shiftees within UP Diliman):
    * GWA of 2.25 (Math and Statistics)
    * Preferably, the applicant should have completed Math 53/21/equiv and Stat 101 as of 1st Semester
    of AY 2019-2020.

    T1 (Transferees from other UP Units):
    * GWA of 2.25 (Math and Statistics)
    * Preferably, the applicant should have taken a course on elementary analysis/calculus and a course
    on elementary statistics as of 1st Semester of AY 2019-2020.

    T2 (Transfer from other School/Universities and Second degree):
    * Overall GWA of 2.00; No Failing Grades; GWA of 1.75 (Math and Statistics)
    * The applicant must have completed at least 2 terms (30 units), and must have completed at least 2
    Math/Stat courses prior to application. General education Math/Stat courses do not count.

    NOTE: Accepting for First Semester
    * Applicants will be evaluated based on their grades on algebra and trigonometry, elementary
    analysis/calculus, elementary statistics and/or other credited Math/Stat courses in the curriculum.
    Math/Stat elective and general education courses are not necessarily used for evaluation.

    DEADLINE OF APPLICATION: 30 June 2020
    PERIOD OF APPLICATION : 10 June 2020 to 30 June 2020 (open for all)

    REQUIREMENTS FOR SHIFTING AND TRANSFERRING

    * Submit the following documents within the application period (June 10 to June 30, 2020);
    * Completely filled-out Application Form with 2x2 Photo
    * Certificate True Copy of Grades since First Year or Transcript of Records
    * Certificate of Good Moral Character
    * Certificate of Not Under Contract
    * Certificate of Enrollment
    * Kindly keep the original/hard copy of the documents;
    * For T1 and T2 applicants, kindly prepare a copy of syllabus of Math/Stat courses take. The School
    may request a copy of syllabus. It will be better if the Certified True Copy of Grades has course
    titles/description.
    * For S2 and T1 applicants, email the soft/scanned copy of documents to
    statsec.upd+application@up.edu.ph with subject “Shifting/Transferring Application”.
    * For T2 applicants, check the details of submission of requirements with the Office of the University
    Registrar (OUR). You may check their website our.upd.edu.ph or email them at
    admission.our@upd.edu.ph.
    * The soft copy of the application form will be available by May 18, 2020.

    When you submit your documents, kindly use this naming format: <S2/T1/T2>_<surname>_<type of document>. For the type of document, use "_grades" for true copy of grades, "_good_moral" for certificate of good moral character, "_enroll" for certificate of enrollment, "_no_contract" for certificate of no contract, and "_app_form" for the application form.
