    𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦
    1. Accomplished Application Form with Passport size photo (Download here: bit.ly/StatGradAppForm2324)

    2. Three (3) Letters of Recommendation (at least one from former employer/immediate superior) (Download here: bit.ly/StatGradRecoForm2324)

    3. Official Transcript of Records (TOR) or True Copy of Grades (TCG) for current undergraduate students

    4. Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate (original to be submitted once admitted)

    5. Photocopy of PSA Marriage Certificate (for married women; original to be submitted once admitted)

    6. TOEFL score report (for foreign applicants whose medium of instruction in the schools they attended is not English)

    7. Validation Exam

    - PMDSA: (1) Probability and Statistical Inference, (2) Calculus and Matrix Algebra, (3) Programming Aptitude
    *All PMDSA applicants are required to take the validation exams

    - MoS: (1) Probability and Statistical Inference, and (2) Calculus and Matrix Algebra
    *may be taken depending on the evaluation of the Graduate Program Committee

    - MS Stat: (1) Probability and Statistical Inference, and (2) Calculus and Matrix Algebra
    *may be taken depending on the evaluation of the Graduate Program Committee

    - PhD Stat: (1) Probability and Statistical Inference, and (2) Calculus and Matrix Algebra
    *may be taken depending on the evaluation of the Graduate Program Committee

    -PhD DS: (1) Probability and Statistical Inference, and (2) Calculus and Matrix Algebra
    All PhD DS-Option 1 applicants are required to take the validation exam; may be required for PhD DS-Option 2 applicants depending on the evaluation of the Graduate Program Committee

    8. Interview (may be required depending on the evaluation of the Graduate Program Committee)

    April 3 (Friday) - Deadline of Submission of Requirements

    April 4 (Tuesday) - April 25 (Tuesday) - Evaluation of Applicants

    April 26 (Monday) - May 2 (Tuesday) - Announcement of Results of Initial Evaluation
    *Applicants will be informed whether they need to take the validation exams.
    *All PMDSA and PhD DS-Option 1 applicants have to take the validation exams.

    May 27 (Saturday) - Validation Exam

    May 29 (Monday) - June 16 (Friday) - Re-evaluation of Applicants based on Validation Exam Results

    June 19 (Monday) - Announcement of Final Evaluation Results
    *Those who will need to take the bridging program during Midyear 2023 need to process admission at UPSS as non-degree as early as June 19.

    July 12 (Wednesday) -July 13 (Thursday) - Registration for Midyear 2022
    *For those who need to take the bridging program

    July 17 (Monday) - Start of Midyear 2023 classes

    Probability and Statistical Inference - probability of events, random variables, expectations, density and distribution functions, sampling distributions, point estimation, interval estimation, hypothesis testing

    Calculus and Matrix Algebra- differential and integral calculus, infinite series, matrix algebra

    Programming Aptitude - (not language-specific) logic, algorithms, pseudo-codes, scenario-based problem solving


    𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗦𝗨𝗕𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡
    Kindly upload the application requirements through this Google Form (bit.ly/StatGradAppUpload2324) on or before April 3 (Monday) and read the guidelines for submission very carefully. Note that you need a Google account in order to submit the requirements.

    Recommenders must send the accomplished forms on or before April 3 (Monday). Recommenders with google accounts may send the accomplished forms directly through this Google Form: bit.ly/StatGradRecoUpload2324. Recommenders without google accounts may send the accomplished forms directly to statgraduate.upd@up.edu.ph.
